Quick Hello

The last few days have been anything but boring. I enjoyed my time in Madrid immensely, but Thursday morning came quickly, and it was time to head south. I was sad to leave Madrid, the people are friendly the streets are very clean, and there is so much to do (for example go to the Plaza Mayor, walk in places where people have walked for thousands of years, Drink amazing Coffee/espresso and the Churros con Chocolate are Incredible).

I got a good feel for Madrid and will be back for at least one if not more trips. Hopefully one of these trips will include a Real Madrid match.
On the way to Sevilla we stopped in the city of Toledo.

Toledo, the former capital of Spain, has an incredible amount of history.(disregard my smirk. ha) Basically Toledo has a very key location on the Iberian peninsula were many different people lived at one time. For a while Moors, Jews and Christians here lived in peace, but when the inquisition started the non Christians were forced to convert or they were kicked out. In Toledo I saw my favorite painting so far it is called "Santo Tome. Entierro del Conde de Orgaz" by El Greco. I wasn't allowed to take a picture but here's a picture of a postcard I was sucked into buying.

Sorry for the long time passed I have not had a reliable internet source the past week. I look forward to catching you up with what is going on is Sevilla.

until then Ciao
